NXT Token – The native utility and governance asset of the NXT ecosystem, used for voting, fee moderation, and staking.
Issuance Portal – A guided web interface where asset originators digitise real-world claims by uploading documents, selecting legal wrappers, and minting compliant tokens.
Compliance Oracle – An integration that automatically checks wallet addresses and jurisdictional restrictions before a token transfer can be executed within NXT.
Governance Snapshot – The block height selected to lock in voting power for a given proposal, ensuring that token movements after the snapshot do not affect results.
Delegate – A community member authorised by other token holders to vote on their behalf; delegates publicly share voting rationales to maintain accountability.
Asset Explorer – An on-chain dashboard listing all tokenised offerings, complete with legal status, disclosure links, and historical performance data.
Fee Rebate Tier – A schedule within the protocol that reduces transaction or redemption costs for users who hold or stake certain thresholds of NXT tokens.
Working Group – A temporary or semi-permanent team, funded by governance, that researches a specific topic—such as regional regulation or user-experience improvements—and reports findings back to the community.
